BUDDY HAS HIS WHEELCHAIR!! He regularly can safely motor around in his new wheels!! He serves as our ambassador for paraplegic pets who may need their own wheels. He requires ongoing care and replacement parts as he wears things out.
Buddy is a 2.5-year-old Chihuahua mix who had gotten lost and was hit by a car.
When he was found and brought to the local shelter his hind legs had deep lacerations and his femur was fractured. More seriously he did not have use of either back leg.
His back was fractured and had affected his spinal cord, causing partial paralysis. NAPS and Rescues adopted him.
With the kindness of donations, we were able to get his special Pet Wheelchair.

I was hit by a car when I escaped and ended up with a fractured back. Luckily some wonderful people at NAPS and Rescues took me in and provided me with needed care. I and others like me depend on the kindness of these groups and your purchases here help support the efforts of groups like NAPS and Rescues for critters like me.
Hi, I am Joe
Here is Joe who was found abandoned at a storage facility after his owners apparently packed their things and left...leaving poor Joe behind with his harness and a leash.
He was taken in by NAPS & Rescues and treated for his dehydration and lack of food. He was also suffering from a dental disease so that was also treated.
Joe is one of the pets we are helping care for with the sales from our store here.
Hi, I am Juno
Poor Juno was an 8-week-old puppy who had been part of an unexpected litter.
A family had gotten her as a new pet but somehow in her first 2 days with them, her front leg was badly fractured.
Unfortunately, the care and costs were more than the family could manage.
NAPS & Rescues took in Juno and she is now having her fractured leg treated by our veterinarian and her staff.
